From 1995-2006 Dr. Wittmann was CFO of KSB AG, Frankenthal, Germany, a publicly listed leading manufacturer of pumps and valves. During his tenure he was spearheading restructuring and realignment of the company.
Prior to that he worked fifteen years for textile machinery manufacturer Schubert & Salzer / Rieter Ingolstadt in different positions in finance and accounting. From 1989-1995 he was board member for Finance and Operations. Amongst others he was responsible for the integration of Schubert & Salzer into Rieter Group (Swi).
Prior to Schubert & Salzer / Rieter Ingolstadt he worked for an accounting firm in Munich.
Dr. Wittmann received a Master of Business Administration (Dipl. Kfm.) from University of Regensburg. Within his tenure as assistant lecturer at this university he also received a PhD (Dr. rer. pol.) in Business Administration.
In addition he is visiting professor at the university of applied sciences in Deggendorf.
He was born in Ingolstadt in 1946 and has three children.
